With the role of Art Director for Issue III, IV, V, and VI of Appalachian State University's fashion magazine, I oversaw the layout design of the publication while working with a large team of stylists, writers, designers, etc.

My contributions and experience as the Art Director at The Collective Magazine have enabled me to acquire the necessary skills needed to lead an editorial team. Beyond leadership skills, I have developed organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. I communicate creative direction to my team and am efficient in giving them constructive feedback on their designs. Additionally, I am also receiving creative direction from the Editor in Chief, Creative Director, and Stylists. This experience working on a dynamic and diverse team has sharpened my ability to communicate effectively to people in other roles, provided exposure and a deeper knowledge of other fields, and ultimately broadened my creative practice.
